Philip has over 30 years’ experience advising senior management and in-house counsel on capital markets transactions, strategic, finance and business issues, public company governance and disclosure, corporate and securities law, broker-dealer compliance, and related matters. Philip is based primarily in New York, NY, USA, and regularly travels to Australia.
Philip has represented and advised global financial institutions, corporations, issuers, placement agents and underwriters in connection with a wide variety of capital markets transactions including domestic and international public offerings, private placements of debt and equity, IPO’s, negotiated acquisitions, joint ventures, startups and derivative securities.
Formerly a partner of Chadbourne & Parke LLP, Special Counsel with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and Associate with Freehills in Australia. For over thirty years in New York, USA and in Melbourne, Australia,

Philip joined Fawkner Capital as a Director in January 2018 and brings a valuable international perspective to Fawkner’s corporate finance capabilities. In addition to his role as a Director of Fawkner Capital, Philip is currently a Director and Chairman of Sponserve USA, Inc., the US subsidiary of SponServe Group, a global leader in sports and brand rights management. He is also a member of the Advisory Board and Head of Faculty of AltaClaro,Inc., a New York based technology startup focused on legal education and mentoring where he provides overall strategic, legal market and content advice. Philip serves as Chairman & General Counsel of the American Friends of the National Gallery of Australia, a tax-exempt charitable organization engaged in fostering the visual arts and cultural exchange between the United States and Australia and a director of The Island People’s Project
